Benjamin Craig, CSP, GSP, CFEI is currently serving as the Southwest ASSP chapter President. In 2018, he served on the chapter’s Safety Professional of the Year (SPY) award selection committee, and in 2019 and 2020 was a Mentor for the chapter’s Mentor program with Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Benjamin is the Director of Risk Management Services with R.E.M. Risk Consultants, located in Dallas, TX. His work focuses on process safety, fire protection, worker safety, and risk management in a wide range of global industries. He advises companies on their safety procedures/practices and compliance with corporate, state, and federal fire and safety regulations. He has conducted assessments of hazardous materials, process safety, electrical safety, and fire protection systems. Benjamin is experienced in consequence analysis of toxic and flammable material releases and assessments of hazardous workplace environments. He received his B.S. in Fire Protection Safety and Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University. Benjamin is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified and Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI).
