Speaker: Robert Braun, CSHO

Robert W. Braun is the Director of Safety,Health, and Environmental Training Programs at The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), Extension and Extended Campus which includes the UTA OSHA Education Center. He is an instructor and senior safety and health consultant. He has more than fifty years of experience as a safety engineer and safety and health manager, experience as a consultant providing safety and health solutions to clients in the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program, and has held positions as a senior safety and health manager.

Bob received his Masters in Industrial and Safety Engineering from Texas A&M University, a baccalaureate in Aeronautical Engineering from Purdue University. In 1984, Bob was awarded a Masters in Business Administration from Boston University. In December 2008, Bob received his certificates as a Trainer in OSHA Standards for General Industry and Construction and is a Certified Safety and Health Official. He has presented at numerous state, regional, national, and international conferences on a variety of technical and leadership topics.
